This group of prints begun in 2009 consists in two series inspired by the art and architecture of the 16th century Villa Giulia in Rome, which today houses a collection of Etruscan art and artifacts as the Museo Nazionale Etrusco.

This recent series of 6 unique monotypes was inspired in Albrecht Freudenberg's original woodcut from 1969.

The changing landscape, witnessed through the seasons and in world travels, is a significant source.

Botanicals

Interest in natural, historical, and cultural motifs provides key subjects. The outdoors as much as museum collections are continual inspirations. Research extends to materials, including Solarplate, Evolon, and found objects.

Small mixed media prints include Solarplate and monotype with collage of organic materials and hand-painting. These intimate works are united in collaged boxes that include prints on Evolon.
